Azle Junior High and Forte Junior High athletes delivered top-tier performances April 2 at the Meet of Champions, the annual end-of-season showcase that serves as the junior high district track and field championships.
The meet features only the top eight qualifiers from 11 schools in each event, making simply earning a spot a significant accomplishment. Azle ISD competitors made the most of the opportunity, posting multiple medal-winning finishes and giving high school coaches a glimpse of a promising future.
