The results from Azle Independent School District’s Instructional Staff Climate Survey are in, with findings showing a mostly positive response from staff while also revealing specific areas for improvement.

Conducted in February and administered to teachers and paraprofessionals, the survey asked various questions primarily focused on school climate, student support, safety, staff involvement and resources.

While presenting the results to the AISD board of trustees March 23, Assistant Superintendent Jessica Hanson explained the district used the Department of Education Climate Survey as a guide for its own survey and garnered a total of 471 responses — down 41 from last year’s survey.
