Don and Wanda Markum of Azle will celebrate their 70th wedding anniversary May 11, 2026.
The couple met as teenagers and were married at Riverside Assembly of God Church in 1956.
They have two daughters and their spouses, four granddaughters, and 12 great-grandchildren, along with many other family and friends who they love and have shared many wonderful adventures with.
They have enjoyed cruises, baseball training camps with their Texas Rangers, trips with their senior group at Cornerstone Community Church, and have made so many special memories in their 70 years together.
God blessed their union 70 years ago, and he continues to bless them today.
