Head football coach Wilson Rigg looks to #BuildTheBuzz at Azle High School.

Azle High School head football coach Wilson Rigg was formally introduced to the community Thursday, April 30, during the Azle Rotary Club luncheon. Coach Rigg introduced his new catch phrase for the Azle Hornets — #BuildTheBuzz —and laid out his plans for the spring and summer.

Athletic Director Michael Sain presented Rigg to those in attendance, noting the structure of the athletic leadership team moving forward. In addition to his role as head football coach, Rigg will serve as campus athletic coordinator, while head volleyball coach Kenley Buckholt will take on duties as assistant campus coordinator.

Since being hired in January, Rigg has experienced a whirlwind start, relocating to Azle, welcoming his first child and jumping straight into spring football.
