During a special meeting of the Azle City Council Monday, April 27, council members went into executive session to discuss the position of city manager.
With longtime City Manager Tom Muir set to retire May 1, the council engaged Strategic Government Resources out of Keller to assist with the search for the right candidate.
As it turned out, the right candidate was here all along.
