Azle ISD held its annual Heart of a Hornet event Friday, May 8 at Hornet Stadium, bringing students with special needs from across the district together for a morning full of games, activities, music, snow cones and lots of encouragement.
The event is designed to celebrate students, promote inclusion, and give students and families a chance to create memories.
Azle High School students including students in the Emerald Dazzlers and Cheer and Hornet Muscle volunteered their time and helped with stations at the event.
