Azle PD Arrests

The Azle Police Department reported the following felony and DWI arrests during the period from April 12 to April 25.

• Eric Dixon, 20, was arrested April 18 in the 1000 block of Stribling Drive and charged with possession of a controlled substance in penalty group 1, more than 1 gram but less than 4 grams. A bond of $10,000 has been set but he remained in jail as of May 8.
• Rodney Ortega, 21, was arrested April 22 in the 500 block of North Stewart Street and charged with possession of a controlled substance in penalty group 2, less than 1 gram. He posted a $1,500 bond and was released from jail April 24.
• Wade Padgett, 19, was arrested April 25 in the 100 block of South Stewart Street and charged with driving while intoxicated. He posted a $500 bond and was released from jail the following day.
• Juan Antonio Esparza Espinoza, 23, was arrested April 23 in the 1000 block of Southeast Parkway and charged with possession of a controlled substance in penalty group 2, less than 1 gram in a drug-free zone. He posted a $1,000 bond and was released from jail April 25.
