Transforming Stinger Field

AYS leaders, sponsors, volunteers invest in future of Hornet athletics
Transforming Stinger Field
New home side bleachers are being installed  at Stiger Field Monday, May 11.

The tradition of Azle athletics continues to grow at Stinger Field as community leaders, volunteers and local businesses work together to improve the longtime home of Azle Youth Sports football.

Azle Youth Sports president Chris Iglesias and board member Austin Mobley have helped lead a wave of upgrades and improvements at Stinger Field, continuing a tradition that has stretched across generations of Hornet families.

Among the proud supporters helping make those improvements possible are Austin Kimball, owner of Armor Roofing, and Kevin Hooper, owner of Twisted H Utility. Both businesses have served as sponsors of Azle Youth Sports and supporters of the ongoing work at Stinger Field.
