Head football coach Wilson Rigg led the Hornets for the first time as a head football coach at the spring game Friday, May 8 at the Hornet Stadium. Hornet 7-on-7 also traveled to Anna to play in its first tournament of the summer.

Junior High Wrestling

Azle Junior High and Santo Forte Junior High wrestlers participated in the Meet of Champions Junior High Wrestling tournament Wednesday, May 6 at Springtown High School. Santo Forte Junior High students who earned gold medals were Liam Fraser, Logan Johnson, Silas Mosier, Shelby Laack and Brooklyn Heath. Azle Junior High gold medalists included Iker Valencia, Kaileigh Slough, Brianna Alleywine and Shaylee Beale.
