The Azle Christian School Fighting Crusaders wrapped up a successful 2026 track and field season with standout performances at the 2026 TAPPS 1A State Track and Field Meet held Friday, May 8, and Saturday, May 9, at Panther Stadium in Hewitt.
The Lady Crusaders finished as the 2026 TAPPS 1A girls state runner-up, while the Fighting Crusaders boys team placed third overall in the final team standings.
The Azle Christian girls team was powered by strong relay performances and individual efforts throughout the two-day meet. The Lady Crusaders claimed state championships in both the sprint relay and 800-meter relay.
