Azle wrestlers earn National Recognition
These Azle High School wrestlers were recognized as GPA excellence while competing on a varsity team.

The nationally recognized wrestling program at Azle High School added another accomplishment to its growing list of achievements as several Hornet wrestlers earned honors from the National Wrestling Coaches Association.

Azle head wrestling coach Tyler Harrison, a member of the National Wrestling Coaches Association, announced that Azle wrestlers were selected as 2026 High School All-America honorees by the NWCA.

The National Wrestling Coaches Association released its 2026 High School All-America Awards, recognizing student-athletes for their achievements in academics, leadership and character development. NWCA member coaches are eligible to nominate wrestlers for two separate honors — the Scholar All-America Award and the Character & Leadership All-America Award.
