“My favorite class in school was definitely A/V production because I learned the absolute most in that class and it gave me so much creative freedom.”

Do you have a shout out for anyone?

“Yes, shout out to my best friends that have kept me going through all my high school years. Kinley Burrows, she has pushed me to always do my best and try my absolute hardest and has always been there for me. And also Annabelle Alexander because she is the most kindhearted person.”

How long have you been involved in rodeo?

“I’ve been rodeoing the past two years, but I’ve been around rodeo since I was 6 years old back when my brother used to rodeo in the NTHSRA.”

Lebron or Michael?

“I have no idea.”

What advice would you give younger athletes?

“If you really want it, work your absolute hardest for it, no matter how you feel, and always encourage yourself that it’s going to be worth it no matter what you do as long as you keep going.”

What is life after high school going to look like?

“I plan to continue running my business of being a videographer, mostly leaning toward rough stock, whether that be filming someone who goes pro or filming the stock contractors’ bulls, and making money doing that.”

“Practice like you’ve never won, compete like you can’t lose.”

Tell me about a game or moment you’ll never forget in rodeo.

“A moment I’ll never forget is the day I made my very first NTHSRA finals in 2024-25 season. I was so proud of myself.”

What has sports taught you about life?

“That you can achieve anything you ever wanted as long as you put in the effort and never quit.”
