I am a long-time reader of The Azle News, love the paper but was disgusted by a recent article in the Azle News by Suzanne Bellsnyder about the recent Republican primary.
She is obviously very upset by the recent winners of the primary (Ken Paxton & Bo French). Her whole article states the system is broken because of low turnout. Just because there is low turnout in an election, and your candidate doesn’t win, doesn’t mean the system is broken. Every legal voter in Texas has the opportunity to vote in their primary of choice.
