The Reading Rabbit Bookshop launched its summer reading program May 30; it will continue until Aug. 1.

Last year, The Reading Rabbit hosted its first summer reading program with a theme centered around rabbits — Walking through the Wildwood. This year’s theme for the summer reading program and activities is Camp Cryptid, a theme centered around creatures from folklore and modern legends such as Bigfoot and the Loch Ness Monster.

Manager Mikayla Mitchell told The Azle News the idea for this year’s theme came from her sister Rebekah, who wanted a theme centered around 90s nostalgia.
