PARKER COUNTY ARRESTS

The following individuals were arrested and charged with felony offenses between May 29 – June 1.

• Edward Neil Lowrey, 46, of Azle was arrested Monday, June 1 by Weatherford police and was charged with possession of child pornography with 10-50 visual depictions of a child. Lowrey was also charged with possession of marijuana less than 2 ounces. His bond is set at $500,000 for the child pornography charge and $1,500 for the marijuana charge. He remained in the Parker County jail as of Monday, June 8.
• Blake Matthew Kirkham, 22, of Azle was arrested Sunday, May 31 by Parker County Sheriff’s deputies and was charged with driving while intoxicated with an open alcohol container. Kirkham posted $1,500 and was released from jail Thursday, June 4.
• Shanda Jarrell, 45, of Springtown was arrested Sunday, May 31 by Springtown police and charged with resisting arrest, unlawful carrying of a weapon, and possession of marijuana less than 2 ounces. Jarrell posted $1,500 bond for the marijuana charge, $2,500 bond for resisting arrest and $2,500 bond for the lawful unlawful carrying of a weapon and was released from jail the following day.
• Shawn Patrick Hurst, 31, of Springtown was arrested Friday, May 29 by Department of Public Safety troopers and charged with driving while intoxicated. He posted $4,000 bond and was released Monday, June 1.
