Parker says stepping outside her comfort zone changed everything
Hall of Famer, doctor, Team U.S.A. athlete
Dr. Stephanie Parker was a member of the USA Women’s Dodgeball team in 2023-2024.

For Dr. Stephanie Parker, the lessons she learned as an athlete at Azle High School helped launch a journey that took her from Lady Hornet athletics to collegiate volleyball, a doctorate in physical therapy and even the United States National Dodgeball Team.

Parker, a 2007 Azle High School graduate and a 2022 Azle Athletic Hall of Fame inductee, excelled in multiple sports as a Lady Hornet. She competed in volleyball, basketball and softball before focusing on volleyball and basketball after her sophomore year.

As a senior, Parker served as team captain for both teams. She earned First Team All-District honors in volleyball and basketball, was named the district’s Offensive MVP in volleyball and Defensive MVP in basketball.
