Eight local students are among those whose academic achievements have been recognized by Abilene Christian University for the spring 2026 semester. Named to the Dean's Honor Roll for achieving a 3.6 or higher GPA while enrolled in at least 12 credit hours are:
- Amanda White of Weatherford, a senior majoring in criminal justice
- Elijah Cockerill of Weatherford, a senior majoring in finance
- Mason Jennings of Azle, a sophomore majoring in finance
- Owen Gray of Weatherford, a sophomore majoring in management
- Gabby Briseno of Azle, a junior majoring in nursing
- Jim Yeats of Azle, a sophomore majoring in business management
- Rod Schvaneveldt of Azle, a sophomore majoring in integrated studies
- Savannah Shafer of Azle, a senior majoring in cybersecurity
