“My name is Hallie Rollins, and I am going to be a senior.”
Do you have any pets?
“Yes, I have a Dachshund named Pebbles and I am getting another one in July.”
What is your favorite class right now?
“My favorite class would be yearbook; I took that last year.”
What is your favorite sport?
“I’ve been here since eighth grade; I’m coming back for volleyball this year. But track is my favorite.”
How long have you been involved in volleyball?
“I played my freshman and sophomore years, and I’m coming back this fall.”
Lebron or Michael?
“Michael.”
What advice would you give younger athletes?
“I think my advice would be to play for yourself. Play hard for you and your teammates.”
What is life after high school going to look like?
“My plan after high school is to either attend Notre Dame University or the University of Texas and I want to study broadcast journalism.”
What is your pre-game routine?
“So, mine in track, I’ll usually just hang out with my teammates, get a snack, and do stretches.”
Tell me about a game or moment you’ll never forget?
“Oh, I’ll never forget winning state my sophomore year, that was the first time we went to state in the 4X100.”
What has sports taught you about life?
“Sports has taught me to become a leader; I’ve learned that becoming a leader is a big deal and it’s also something that won’t just stay in high school sports. It’s something you can bring through life.”
