The Azle High School boys and girls basketball programs spent part of June competing against some of the top teams in the state at the Texas Association of Basketball Coaches Showcase.
The Azle girls participated in the Girls TABC Showcase June 18-20 in Bryan, while the boys competed June 26-27 at sites in Duncanville and Mansfield.
Azle girls coach Cassie Urban said 308 high school teams participated in the girls event and the Lady Hornets brought 14 players to the showcase.
