Reno cancels special council meeting due to lack of quorum
The L. J. Bailey Municipal Complex houses the operations of the city of Reno.

A special meeting of the Reno City Council scheduled for Monday, June 29 was canceled after two council members became ill, leaving the council without enough members present to establish a quorum.

Items on the agenda included voluntary annexation requests, adding a separate bank account for stormwater funds, an interlocal agreement with Parker County for septic permitting services, planning for the city’s 60th anniversary, budget and personnel workshop timelines.

The date for a rescheduled meeting had not been announced.
