Music in the Park show reset to July 10

Jon Christopher Davis, whose show was canceled due to rain June 19, will be back to wrap up the 2026 season of Music in the Park July 10. The award-winning Texas singer-songwriter’s music combines Americana, country, and rock into an incredible live show. His songs have been recorded by some of the biggest names in music.

The free concert begins at 8 p.m. in Azle’s Central Park. Bring your lawn chairs, blankets and coolers, but remember, no alcohol is allowed in the park. Bring your own snacks or enjoy the food trucks.

EMPHC Coffee Hour set July 16

Eagle Mountain Pregnancy Help Center will host a Coffee Hour for ministry and community leaders from 9:30-10:30 a.m. Thursday, July 16 at 10328 Jacksboro Highway in Fort Worth.

The event will allow attendees to meet with the staff and board while learning more about the organization’s outreach and services.

Rock out to ‘90s recital July 18

Oh, Mylanta! The Azle Music & Enrichment Academy is rewinding the clock back to the ‘90s for a summer recital Saturday, July 18, at 404 W. Main St.

From 10 a.m.-2 p.m., attendees can don their scrunchies and rock out to a totally rad celebration filled with ‘90s music, performances and nostalgia as AMEA students take the stage and show off what they’ve been working on.

AISD’s Night at the Ballpark set July 24

Azle Independent School District is taking everyone out to the ball game Friday, July 24, at Texas Rangers Stadium, 734 Stadium Drive in Arlington.

The community is invited to wear green and white and show off their Hornet pride while enjoying a fun-filled evening of baseball, school spirit and community celebration.

Kids take over The Feedlot July 25

Mark your calendars for Saturday, July 25, as kids take over The Feedlot from 9 a.m.-1 p.m. during a car show at 225 Church St.

During this free event, local kids will run their own booths and sell products they’ve created while learning real-world skills.

Meanwhile, car enthusiasts can also marvel at the various vehicles on display.

The car show will be open to all cars and awards will be given out to outstanding vehicles. Attendees can look forward to other vendors as well as food trucks and family-friendly fun.

Azle ISD Vendor Fair expected Aug. 7

Azle ISD will host a Vendor Fair for anyone who registers before June 25. This is a free event from 11 a.m. to noon Friday, Aug. 7 at Azle High School.

Community clothing swap due Aug. 8

Revive United Methodist Church will host a clothing swap from 11 a.m.-3 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 8 at 404 W. Main St. in Azle. Bring clean, lightly used clothing, browse and select from clothing others have donated.

The first 250 families will receive a free SWAG bag. Drawings for $100 Walmart gift cards throughout the event will also be included, as well as free hot dogs.
