The Azle Hornets 6U baseball team has qualified for the PONY Baseball and Softball’s South Zone World Series, which will be held July 15-18 in Youngsville, Louisiana. The PONY acronym stands for “Protect Our Nation’s Youth.”
The tournament will take place at the Youngsville Sports Complex.
The all-star team was put together at the end of the regular season and is made up entirely of Azle players. The youngsters competed against each other throughout the spring before coming together to represent Azle in the PONY World Series.
