If you are anything like me, you have to be impressed by the 2026 FIFA World Cup taking place throughout North America. The United States, Canada and Mexico are serving as hosts this year. AT&T Stadium, known as Dallas Stadium during the World Cup, is one of the venues. Los Angeles, New Jersey and Foxborough, Massachusetts, are among the other U.S. sites.
I'm not really a soccer fan, but this tournament sucked me in. The international flavor, the nationalism and patriotism, and the onslaught of soccer fans coming to the United States just got me watching nonstop.
The loyalty these fans display has really stood out to me. Win, lose or draw, they are there for their team. Think about how much money it costs to go to another country, stay for a month and travel from state to state or to Canada and Mexico, which are also hosting matches. They follow their country with pride.
