The relationship between the Azle Area Chamber of Commerce and the city of Azle is built on solid ground — and soon, the chamber’s new headquarters will be, too.

After three years of fundraising, collecting sponsorships and hosting raffles, a new chamber building slated for 256 W. Main St. is one step closer to reality after the Azle City Council and the Azle Municipal Development District board approved a $325,000 grant to help support construction.

During the chamber’s monthly luncheon July 7, Executive Director Jennifer Parnell called the grant an important milestone for the project that began in 2023, when a $100,000 sponsorship allowed the chamber to purchase the property across from Central Park.
