Azle's nationally recognized girls wrestling program added two more Fargo All-Americans when Zaylyn Woods finished fifth in the 16U Girls Freestyle division and Noah Kovach placed eighth in the Junior Girls Freestyle division at the 2026 U.S. Marine Corps Junior Nationals in Fargo, North Dakota.
The national finishes added another milestone to an already historic year for the Lady Hornets, who captured the 2026 UIL Class 5A state championship.
The annual U.S. Marine Corps Junior Nationals, commonly known as Fargo, is considered the nation's premier high school wrestling tournament. The event brings together many of the country's top wrestlers at the Fargodome to compete for national championships and All-American honors.
