Instead of calling it a day, construction crews at a new collision repair facility will soon be calling it a night — literally.
After a 10-minute discussion weighing concerns about the heat, traffic and construction noise, Azle City Council approved a request July 21 allowing a one-time overnight concrete pour during the construction of a new vehicle repair facility at 501 Redbud Drive.
Demolition work is already underway on the 15,134-square-foot facility — the future home of Crash Champions Collision Repair — and a concrete pour for the main building foundation slab is expected to begin next month.
