Brandon Sheets' baseball journey has taken him from Azle High School to four college programs, and the former Hornet believes each stop has helped shape him into the player he is today.
Sheets, a 2022 Azle graduate, is coming off his best collegiate season at Texas A&M University-Texarkana after batting .302 with eight home runs, 40 RBIs, nine doubles and 37 runs scored this spring.
His success continued this summer with the Nacogdoches Niners of the Mid-America League. Sheets entered the week of July 20 leading the league with a .416 batting average while ranking third in stolen bases with 20.
