The Lady Hornets used the final days before the 2026 season begins to work together during a three-day Metro Elite Volleyball team camp July 27-29 at Azle High School.

The high-intensity camp was conducted by coaches from outside Azle ISD and was designed for incoming ninth- through 12th-grade players. The Lady Hornets spent four hours each day working on skill development, game knowledge, speed and team development.

The Metro Elite format gave Azle players an opportunity to train alongside the teammates they will compete with during the upcoming season.
