AISD welcomes new dance director

There’s a new face in the Azle ISD Fine Arts Department. Chandler Freehill has been named the new Emerald Dazzlers drill team director and the junior high dance teacher for Forte and Azle Junior High Schools.

Freehill was born in Wyoming and spent her childhood moving frequently because her father was in the Army. After her father retired, the family settled near San Antonio, where Freehill attended Byron P. Steele High School and graduated in 2013.

She began dancing at an early age.
