Azle ISD honored three coaches during its 2026-27 coaches convocation Monday, Aug. 3, at the Azle ISD administration building.

The annual convocation brings together coaches from across the district to review policies and safety guidelines. The meeting also serves as a motivational kickoff designed to build unity among the coaching staff before the school year.

Azle ISD athletic director Michael Sain presented the district’s Coach of the Year awards for the 2025-26 school year.
