Azle Christian School opened fall football practice Aug. 3 with 17 players reporting as the Fighting Crusaders began practicing for the 2026 season.
A talented group of returning seniors will lead ACS on the field, including All-State running back, wide receiver and free safety Grayson Smith.
Smith accumulated 2,447 total yards of offense during his junior season. He recorded 23 touchdown receptions and 12 rushing touchdowns while helping the Fighting Crusaders finish 9-3 and advance to the state semifinals in 2025.
