Azle Christian School’s Lady Fighting Crusaders opened their volleyball season with an impressive scrimmage Aug. 6 at the school’s home gym.
ACS faced First Baptist Academy of Dallas in the preseason matchup, giving first-year head coach Laney Geeslin an early opportunity to evaluate her team against outside competition.
The scrimmage allowed Geeslin and the Lady Fighting Crusaders to work through rotations, lineups and game situations as they continued preparing for the start of the regular season.
