Gold Card, green pride

Getting older does have its perks — and if you’re an Azle resident, one of the biggest perks is the ability to join the Azle Independent School District’s Gold Card program.

Open to residents ages 55 and older, the Gold Card program gives members free general admission to any home sports games or extracurricular events, and — an added bonus — the cards don’t expire.

Membership also includes an invitation to the district’s Gold Card luncheon each fall and spring, where Azle ISD coaches and fine arts directors give information about upcoming district games and productions.
