Azle PD Arrests

The Azle Police Department reported the following felony and DWI arrests during the period from July 19 to Aug. 8.

• Kirsten Alcorn, 33, was arrested July 19 in the 800 block of Southeast Parkway and charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and assault of a family or household member by impeding breathing or circulation. She posted a $10,000 bond for the first charge and a $5,000 bond for the second charge July 21 and was released from jail.
• Timothy Schurr, 44, was arrested July 19 in the 900 block of Boyd Road and charged with driving while intoxicated. He was sentenced to 30 days in jail and was released from jail Aug. 13.
• Omar Esparza, 19, was arrested July 20 and charged with possession of a controlled substance in penalty group 2, 1-4 grams, and tampering/fabricating physical evidence with intent to impair. He posted a $3,000 bond for each charge July 22 and was released from jail.
• Jeremy Burke, 40, was arrested July 23 in the 1000 block of Boyd Road and charged with failure to comply sex offender duty to register annually/life, possession of a controlled substance in penalty group 1 or 1-B, less than 1 gram and possession of a controlled substance in penalty group 2, 4-400 grams. He remained in jail as of Aug. 14 in lieu of a $3,500 bond for the first charge, a $5,000 bond for the second charge and a $10,000 bond for the third charge.
• Cody Mash, 20, was arrested July 23 in the 1200 block of W. Highway 199 and charged with manufacture/delivery of a controlled substance in penalty group 2 or 2-A, 4-400 grams, and possession of a controlled substance in penalty group 2, 4-400 grams. He posted a $30,000 bond for the first charge and a $20,000 bond for the second charge and was released from jail July 28.
• Josue Aguilera, 43, was arrested July 27 in the 1000 block of Boyd Road and charged with driving while intoxicated, third or more offense. He posted a $10,000 bond and was released from jail the following day.
• Adrian Grutsch, 38, was arrested July 29 in the 200 block of Mountain View Drive and charged with theft of material aluminum/bronze/copper or brass valued at less than $20,000. He posted a $4,000 bond Aug. 11 and was released from jail.
• Joel Hartman, 73, was arrested July 30 in the 13000 block of Farm-to-Market Road 730 South and charged with driving while intoxicated. He posted a $1,500 bond and was released from jail the following day.
• Charlie Williams, 38, was arrested July 30 in the 500 block of E. Highway 199 and charged with possession of a controlled substance in penalty group 1 or 1-B, less than 1 gram and possession of a controlled substance in penalty group 2, 1-4 grams. He posted a $1,500 bond for the first charge and a $2,000 bond for the second charge July 31 and was released from jail.
• Brandi Sage, 40, was arrested Aug. 7 in the 100 block of Golfers Way and charged with interference with child custody. She posted a $7,500 bond and was released the same day.
• Carson Martyn, 19, was arrested Aug. 8 in the 1300 block of Northwest Parkway and charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. He posted a $35,000 bond and was released from jail the following day.
