Church hosts 40 days of prayer, revival
GracePointe Church, 4110 E. Highway 199, is hosting 40 days of prayer that will culminate in a revival.
Participants are invited to start their mornings seeking God in prayer from home at 6:30 a.m. each day through Sept. 23. As the 40 days of prayer draw to a close, the church will hold revival services at 6 p.m. Sept. 20-23.

Congressional staff visit AML Aug. 24
Staff from U.S. Rep. Craig Goldman's office will be in the Azle Library Community Room from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Monday, Aug. 24 to help area residents with passports, Medicare issues and other government assistance questions. No sign-up is required, and there is no charge.

AML hosts Adult Show and Tell Aug. 25
The Azle Memorial Library will take residents on a trip back to elementary school for its Adult Show and Tell event at 6 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 25, in the Azle Library Community Room, 333 W. Main St.

Waggin Ranch pet adoption set Aug. 29
In partnership with the Azle Animal Shelter, Waggin Ranch Boarding will host its grand opening and pet adoption celebration from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 29 at 12258 S. Farm-to-Market Road 730.
During this free event, attendees can meet adoptable puppies, snap a photo in the photo booth, participate in giveaways and tour one of Azle’s newest businesses.
FFA hosts Back to School Bash Aug. 29
Get ready to kick off the new school year with a splash of fun and excitement at the Azle FFA Back to School Bash Saturday, Aug. 29.
From 5:30-8:30 p.m., Azle students and parents are invited to the AZTex Arena, 1234 Park St., to enjoy an evening filled with an inflatable water slide, cornhole, kickball, 9 Square in the Air and delicious food.

Sting Fling arrives Sept. 12

Azle FCCLA Craft Fair returns Oct. 3
Azle High School FCCLA will host its fourth annual Craft Fair Fundraiser Saturday, Oct. 3, at Azle High School. The event will feature vendor booths throughout the cafeteria, gyms and Hall of Fame Commons, along with food trucks outside the stadium.

Christmas on Main Street arrives Dec. 5
The Azle Area Chamber of Commerce will host its annual Christmas on Main Street Dec. 5.
Come shop with vendors at the Christmas market, enjoy free children's activities inside 404 Main Place, and check out the Azle Lions Club car show.
After the festival, get ready for the tree lightings at City Hall and the Azle Historical Museum, followed by a lighted parade on Main Street.
