The Azle community came out in force Monday, Aug. 17 when 12 residents voiced concerns and suggestions during public hearings regarding the city’s proposed tax rate and fiscal year 2027 budget.

PROPOSED TAX RATE

Earlier this month, Azle City Council members voted unanimously to propose a de minimis property tax rate of $0.6756 per $100 of taxable value — around an 8% increase compared to the current rate of $0.6246.
