Final grades from the Texas Education Agency have been calculated, and the Azle Independent School District earned a C on its latest state report card.
Every year, the TEA assigns each school district in Texas an accountability rating using three different domains: Student Achievement, School Progress and Closing the Gaps.
Jordan Thiem, Azle ISD’s director of secondary curriculum and federal programs, told trustees Aug. 17 that all three domains are largely based on one measurement: STAAR results.
