When Forte Junior High and Azle Junior High meet on the volleyball court, bragging rights are on the line. The two schools squared off Thursday, Aug. 27.
The crosstown rivalry is significant enough that the teams play their annual matches at the Azle High School gym. Football and basketball teams from the two junior highs also meet at the high school.
The games allow the schools to compete while also promoting unity among athletes who will eventually become teammates at Azle High School.
