Azle High School put its fall teams, spirit groups and championship programs in front of an enthusiastic hometown crowd Aug. 24 during Meet the Hornets, the school’s annual community pep rally.
The AHS football team led the procession as athletes, coaches and student organizations were introduced to cheers from the crowd.
The event focused on fall sports. Athletic director Michael Sain told the crowd another Meet the Hornets will be held in February to recognize the school’s spring sports teams.
