Remembering 9/11

The column below appeared in the Sept. 21, 2001, edition of The Azle News, just 10 days after the terrorist attacks of Sept. 11 the same year. Written by now editor Carla Noah Stutsman, the column reflects on the emotions she experienced in the aftermath of the tragedy. It is presented in this edition in honor of the 25th anniversary of the attacks, the 2,977 people who were killed that day and at least 9,425 who have died from 9/11-related illnesses in the years since.
