How long have you played volleyball?
“I’ve played volleyball for three-and-a-half years now.”
Do you have any pets?
“Yes, I have three dogs and one cat. Their names are Murphy, Boo and Hazle, spelled like Azle, and my cat’s name is Frost.”
Do you have a shout out to anyone?
“Okay, shout out to my mom for making it so I can even come to these things.”
What is your favorite class in school?
“English. It’s the easiest one of all of them.”

“Michael.”
Do you have a pregame routine or superstition you must do before a game?
“Um, my shoelaces have to be the same tightness on both.”
What advice would you give younger athletes?
“My advice to younger players is ‘Don’t give up. Never give up.’”
Why is volleyball your favorite sport?
“I like how it keeps me on my toes, like on the court and off the court.”
Tell me about life after high school.”
“I probably will not go to college. I will probably go into the military and become an EMT, or I might become a flight attendant.”
