Road rage incident sparks gunfire

A road rage incident escalated to gunfire Tuesday afternoon, Sept. 1, in northwest Parker County.

According to the Parker County Sheriff’s Office, deputies responded to a home in the Poolville area after the victim called 911 about 2:24 p.m. Investigators said Thomas Earl Jones Jr., 30, of Fort Worth, allegedly drove “in close proximity” to the victim’s vehicle on Farm-to-Market Road 920.

Following an exchange of gestures, the victim drove to a residence in the Poolville area; Jones allegedly followed.
