Despite budget concerns earlier this summer, the city of Pelican Bay officially adopted a balanced budget and a no-new-revenue tax rate for the 2026-27 fiscal year Sept. 8.

Utilizing two separate funds, Pelican Bay’s adopted budget includes $1.65 million in the general fund and $1.78 million in the utility fund.

Along with the budget, the council adopted a no-new-revenue rate of $0.703847 per $100 valuation — the highest rate the city was legally allowed to adopt this year.
