The Azle Christian School Fighting Crusaders made quick work of previously unbeaten Perrin-Whitt Friday, Sept. 11, shutting out the Pirates 46-0 at home.
The game ended at halftime because of six-man football’s 45-point rule. Under the rule, a game ends when one team is ahead by 45 or more points at the end of the first half. If a team reaches a 45-point lead during the second half, the game ends immediately.
ACS had already built a 46-point advantage after two quarters.
