Azle High School varsity and junior varsity volleyball players helped elementary students start their school day with a little extra Hornet spirit Friday, Sept. 18.
Members of the Lady Hornets volleyball program greeted students as they arrived at school, welcoming the youngsters at the front doors and wishing them a good day.
The visit was designed to strengthen the connection between Azle High School athletes and younger students throughout the district. From elementary school through high school, the message is simple: Azle is one team and everyone is a Hornet.
