Tri-County Electric District 2 director secures another term

A Tri-County Electric Cooperative board member has secured another three-year term — and not a single ballot was cast during the election.

During the cooperative’s annual meeting Sept. 22, Sean Healy, account manager for Survey and Ballot Systems — Tri-County’s election services provider — announced that incumbent Margaret Koprek will continue to represent District 2 after running unopposed in the 2026 election cycle.

According to the Tri-County Electric website, Koprek has represented District 2 since February 2021, when she was appointed to the newly created seat following the cooperative’s redistricting. She currently serves as vice chair of the board.
