“My name is Brayden Combs and I am a senior.”
What is your favorite sport?
“Football for sure. I used to play basketball. Now, just football because I am graduating in December.”
Do you have any pets?
“Yes, I have two dogs, two little mini-Aussies. One’s got blue eyes. Their names are Cash and Whiskey.”
Do you have a shout out to anyone?
“Shout out to my mom and dad.”
What is your favorite class in school?
“My favorite class is probably math; I’m taking financial math right now.”
Michael or LeBron?
“I’m going to upset a lot of people, but LeBron is definitely better.”
What is something about sports that you will never forget?
“My sophomore year, we were playing Birdville and we stopped them for the game winner.”
What advice would you give younger athletes?
“Hard work beats talent. When talent doesn’t work, just keep working.”
Who is your favorite athlete?
CeeDee Lamb when he was in college at Oklahoma.”
Tell me about the “air raid” offense.
“The offense has changed a lot from last year. Last year we ran vertical option routes. This year in the air raid, you have set routes. If one guy is getting double covered, there’s always somebody else open.”
Tell me about life after high school.
“I’m going to play football somewhere. I’m undecided.”
