Azle’s cross-country teams competed Thursday, Sept. 24 in the Phyllis Pappas Pacer, the annual cross-country invitational hosted by Wichita Falls ISD.

The Lady Hornets finished second overall while the boys squad captured fourth place.

Azle’s girls placed four runners in the top 15. Freshman Samantha Bevan led the Lady Hornets with a 10th-place finish.
