Parker County Arrests

Staff Report

The following individuals were arrested and charged with felony offenses or with driving while intoxicated between Oct. 2 and Oct. 8.

• Toby Scott Stroud, 45, of Azle, was arrested by Weatherford police and charged with violation of a bond or protective order two or more times within a 12-month period. Stroud posted a $15,000 bond and was released from jail the following day.
• Amanda Lee Morris, 49, of Weatherford was arrested Saturday, Oct. 3 by Parker County Sheriff’s deputies and charged with driving while intoxicated. She posted $1,500 bond and was released from jail the same day.
• Shawn Marlan Finney, 40, of Weatherford, was arrested Sunday, Oct. 4 by Parker County Sheriff’s deputies and charged with possession of a controlled substance in penalty group 1 or 1-B, less than 1 gram. He was released from the Parker County jail Oct. 12 after posting $7,500 bond.
• Jennifer Joyce Abbott, 50, of Springtown, was arrested Thursday, Oct. 8 by Parker County Sheriff’s deputies and charged with theft of property, less than $2,500, with two or more previous convictions. She was also charged with possession of a dangerous drug and criminal trespass. She remained in the Parker County jail as of Monday, Oct. 12 in lieu of $7,500 bond for the theft charge, $1,500 bond for the possession charge, and $2,000 bond for the trespass charge.
