The Azle High School theater department presented multiple performances of “The Little Prince with Puppets!” by Rick Cummins and John Scullar Friday and Saturday, Oct. 16-17 in the AHS auditorium.

“The Little Prince” is a play based on the book of the same name written by Antoine de Saint-Exupéry about an aviator whose plane crashes in the Sahara Desert, where he meets a wise and magical little boy who fell from space.

AHS theater director Rebecca Crabtree told The Azle News she chose the production due to her interest in puppetry. She said the playwrights’ version of the script is written to be performed by a cast of puppets, including the prince, and one live actor — the aviator.
